We’ve been big fans of Rahzel since If your mother only knew. Remember when that song dropped? He was doing the beat and the chorus at the same time. When he came to us to help him establish his digital presence in early 2008, we were happy to oblige. He really only had two requirements: make it hot and make it easy to update.
Leveraging the photography that Rahzel was able to send us, we set out designing a visually spectacular set of branding elements. We then went about pulling in feeds from all of Rahzel’s various spots online; Youtube videos were pulled in anytime he favorited them, tweets appeared as status updates, and we used wordpress to make the entire thing dynamic. Hot? Check. Easy to update? Check.
Sadly, Partway through the process we lost contact with Rahzel’s management team. Regardless, we’re still quite happy with the way the site turned out. Life works in mysterious ways…
