Nike Corre serves Nike’s running community for Latin America. While we’ve been involved with the Corre site for quite a while, this particular (and most recent) direction was intended to bring the site in line with the standard look and feel that Nike was in the process of rolling out to all of its sites.
Taking partial design direction from a campaign that was running at the time, we created a completely dynamic and modular homepage that leveraged both brand-centric and original elements. Nike corre featured stories and products from Nike’s running line, particularly targeted to various Latin American audiences by way of translation.
In addition to design and development, we worked with North American and Latin American Nike employees to manage their community of users and give feedback on the way the community was being run. The best part is that using a single WordPress installation, we were able to give admins and moderators a single point of entry for every location-based landing page. This allowed each country to remain distinct in the eyes of the user, but gave content the ability to be easily shared between country portals when appropriate.
