Nike Soccer came to us with an objective of unifying their consumer purchasing experiences on partner retailer sites through a distributed version of their Nike Bootroom. There were a few objectives of the brief, but the number one request was speed. Make it light, easily accessible, and fast. We do fast really well. Working with the Nike team, we came up with the concept of having one centralized management hub to manage Nike Bootrooms across all retailer partners.

The team at We the Media spent a few months designing, building, and optimizing the new Nike Bootroom. What we came up with is a HTML5/JQuery driven overlay that oozes with joy and delight. It helps users see the premium Nike product and get right to what they want on partner retail sites.

The Nike Bootroom pilot launched in June of 2011 and we continue to make upgrades to the base as the model for a distributed consumer experience powered by brand storytelling gains traction. We believe we’ve built something special with the Nike team and are looking forward to future enhancements.
